Tuta Earth Watch

TUTA Earth Watch is a community-led map exploring the connections between the environment, natural resources, conflict, and peacebuilding around the world.

Natural resources are often at the centre of environmental conflicts, but they can also provide common ground for cooperation. From shared water management and ecosystem restoration to community-led conservation and cross-border environmental initiatives, the map highlights how people experience environmental challenges and how they work together to protect the places and resources they depend on.

By documenting both environmental conflicts and the positive role of nature in building peace, TUTA Earth Watch aims to make local experiences visible, share examples of cooperation, and recognise the potential of the environment to connect people rather than divide them.

Through this interactive map, anyone can explore existing cases and contribute local stories, helping make environmental challenges visible, share examples of cooperation, and recognise the potential of nature to connect people rather than divide them.

📍 Contribute to the map: Share an environmental challenge, a conflict, or an example of people working together through nature and natural resources. Add a location, description, and any relevant photos or sources.

🌙 Submissions that are approved and published will receive a digital postcard from TUTA Magazine as a small thank-you for contributing.
