Humanize climate change
To understand climate change, we need to look beyond the science and listen to the human experiences unfolding behind it.
About Tuta Magazine
TUTA is Georgia’s first experimental climate and environmental magazine that presents ecological issues in artistic, creative, and human-centered ways. Moving beyond policy reports and scientific papers, TUTA bridges the gap between personal experience, cultural context, and climate realities. It humanizes climate change, showing what environmental transformations mean for real people, their communities, and their culture.
For example:
What does a melting glacier signify for a resident in Svaneti?
How does desertification impact a farmer in Kakheti?
How are cultural identities and traditions affected by environmental change?
Our mission is to:
Present climate and environmental topics artistically, blending storytelling, visual arts, photography, and multimedia.
Humanize environmental issues, giving voice to the people directly affected.
Bridge cultural and regional perspectives, showing how climate change intersects with heritage, lifestyle, and identity.
Expand the audience beyond scientific or governmental circles, reaching normal people, creatives, and curious readers.
Through stories told in people’s own words and images shaped by lived experience, TUTA moves climate conversation into everyday life. It invites readers to look at climate change not as a distant concept, but as a shared human reality that shapes our present and our future.

Call of the wild
Horses move freely across the Kazbegi mountains, carrying memory, rhythm, and resilience. In landscapes shaped by climate and time, nature and life continue their quiet dialogue.
Like the horses of Kazbegi, our stories follow life as it moves through changing landscapes, exploring how climate shapes communities, culture, and everyday experience.
